It was a busy and successful week for our Boys’ Football Teams.
On Thursday 15th January our Boys’ Football Team progressed to the next round of the Under 11 Lisburn Schools’ Cup with an excellent 6-0 victory over Meadowbridge PS.
Friday 16th January saw two P7 teams enter the annual Lisnagarvey High School Tournament. Both teams played brilliantly to progress from their groups and into the semi-finals. The ‘B’ team battled well in defeat against a very strong Rowandale team while the ‘A’ team progressed to the final after an epic penalty shoot-out victory over Ballymacash. A tight final was decided by a single goal and saw the boys lift yet another trophy this year.
