On Tuesday 6 May, members of our School Choir were invited to Stormont to take part in an event to celebrate and commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day. The event was hosted by The Speaker of the Assembly and was attended by MLAs, the US and Polish Counsel Generals and families of veterans who served in World War 2. Our choir sang a medley of War Time classics including ‘We’ll Meet Again’, ‘Run Rabbit Run’ and ‘When the Lights Go On Again’.
It was a privilege to be part of such a special event and will be a day which our pupils will remember for many years to come.
